ERP for IT and network companies
An IT or network company may sell hardware and licences, deliver a project and support the customer afterward. Datrylo connects customer records, sales, purchasing, inventory and invoices so teams can work from shared information.
A switch delay changes the network cutover plan
See how the workflow connects people, records and decisions.
| Step | Owner, record and exception |
|---|---|
| 1 | Network project NET-02 needs 2 switches and a planned weekend cutover. Buyer links the two-unit purchase to the project. |
| 2 | Supplier delivers only 1 switch. Project owner records the shortage and dependency on the second device before scheduling the change. |
| 3 | Customer approves a revised cutover date or tested substitute. Procurement and project tasks keep the same dependency reference; an untested device is not silently substituted. |

Test a customer project
Take a network deployment with equipment, labour and a change request. Follow the opportunity, quote, procurement and delivery of hardware. Ask how tasks, acceptance and final billing would be handled. The Project evidence proves a completed task record, not a full project-margin or time-and-materials process.
Keep asset data useful
Serial numbers, warranty dates, licence terms, site locations and customer ownership can matter later. Define the authoritative record for each before migration. Do not store production access credentials in ordinary product or contact notes; use appropriate secure custody.
Verify the service model
Helpdesk and Field Service are not in the current approved 34-app matrix. If ticket intake, response commitments, remote sessions, recurring contracts or technician dispatch drive the business, assess those as explicit gaps. Discuss an IT project and support handoff.
Bring the exception to your workflow review
Configure project purchase links, serial/model references, dependency ownership and customer approval of changes.
