Datrylo and Odoo Community
Datrylo is based on Odoo Community. That foundation supplies many of the business applications and workflows available in the current product. Datrylo adds its own Manager for accounts, database subscriptions, entitlements, service operations and billing records, plus its own branding and approved add-ons. The exact application package and product release determine what a customer can use.
Who owns each software and service layer
Current product responsibility map. Preserve upstream copyright, licences and provenance;compare exact editions and releases. Odoo Enterprise-only components are not included merely because an application name is similar.
| Record / decision | Filled example and next owner |
|---|---|
| Odoo Community foundation | Odoo supplies the upstream Community applications and source. Its licence and copyright notices remain applicable;Datrylo is independent of Odoo S.A. and is not an endorsed Odoo Enterprise package. |
| Datrylo Manager / add-ons | Datrylo provides account,Workspace subscription, offer and service administration plus its own packaging and approved add-ons. Service responsibility follows the agreed seller and implementation scope. |
| Third-party / custom components | Review each module/vendor licence, version, source and maintenance owner. A custom proposal identifies deliverables, source rights, support and dependencies;software availability does not include every implementation service. |

Why disclose the foundation
Software buyers need to know which parts of a system are community software, which are Datrylo extensions and which third-party components are involved. This affects support, migration, licensing and the evidence behind a feature claim. Datrylo connects customer records, sales, purchasing, inventory and invoices so teams can work from shared information.
What independence means
Datrylo is an independent product and service. Odoo Community is a foundation, not an endorsement by Odoo SA. Odoo and related names remain their owners' marks. An application that appears in a catalogue should be assessed against its actual licence, version, approved package and tested workflow. A menu item is not proof of a complete solution.
How to evaluate a claim
Ask which release and edition a demonstration uses, whether a capability is standard or an added module, what the subscription includes and which workflow was actually verified. When comparing Datrylo with Odoo Enterprise or another product, compare the same buyer task and deployment assumptions with dated sources. We will mark unknowns as unknowns and describe gaps rather than presenting decorative checkmarks. Request a guided demonstration.
