Multi-Currency

Multi-currency work records a transaction in one currency while the business may report or settle in another. Rates, dates, rounding and accounting policy determine the result.

A worked example

A practical example to make the concept clear.

StepIllustrative record and result
Starting recordAn example customer invoice is 100 USD on 2 October 2026. The company reports in IQD; assume 1 USD = 1,300 IQD.
Change or calculationThe invoice’s illustrative reporting value is 130,000 IQD. A later payment of 100 USD at an example 1,310 rate equals 131,000 IQD.
Meaning and exceptionThe 1,000 IQD difference needs the approved settlement/accounting treatment. These are example transaction rates; Datrylo subscription pricing and charge currency are a separate topic.

Why it matters

A customer invoice currency, company reporting currency and settlement currency can differ. Record the rate direction and relevant dates, then apply the approved reconciliation policy. Datrylo subscription pricing is available separately on the pricing page.
