How to run an ERP demo that answers real questions

A polished homepage cannot show whether the software handles your hardest handoff. A useful demo follows a small set of your own scenarios, including an exception, with the exact release and application package proposed for purchase.

One demonstration script includes an exception

Use this demo script to explore a complete workflow with your team.

One demonstration script includes an exception
Record / decisionFilled example and next owner
PrepareDEMO-10: one example customer,10 units, ordinary sales/stock roles. Agree expected partial delivery6 and balance4.
ObserveCarry the same customer/order reference into stock. Deliberately introduce shortage; capture the resulting remaining quantity and owner decision.
Record / decideDate/version, role, source records, actual result, limitation and retest owner. A demo pass is separate from implementation acceptance.

Use this worksheet to organise your requirements, assign owners and plan the next steps.

Prepare the script

Choose a normal transaction and one difficult variant. For a stock business, use customer enquiry, quote, confirmed order, delivery and invoice, then repeat with a shortage. Name the roles and documents each step needs. Use synthetic or sanitized examples rather than production customer data.

Watch the work, not just the screen

Ask the presenter to show what changes in each related record, who can approve it and what happens when a user makes a mistake. Note when the presenter leaves the product for a spreadsheet, custom script or unsupported assumption. A menu entry is not workflow proof.

Record the result

Mark each requirement demonstrated, configured, needing development or unverified. Capture the release, device, language and date. Ask for a written follow-up on gaps, implementation scope and costs. Datrylo's current product demonstrations can anchor a demo, but a buyer's acceptance depends on its own process. Request a demo.
